What is our capacity?
The Villa can accommodate up to 150 guests for ceremony and reception.
*Events under 100 guests must be sure to meet the food & bar minimums.
When are we open?
The Villa is closed to the public Mondays-Thursdays, and schedules tours and meetings by appointment Friday-Sunday.
The Villa is closed during the Winter months, and does not host events Mid-November - April.
The Villa hosts up to 2 events per weekend Friday-Sunday, and typically does not host weekday events.
How long is the venue rental time?
Exclusive 5 hour use of venue. (3pm - 8pm)
Vendors and clients may arrive at the venue for setup as early as 3pm
all personal items, decor, and guests must be out by 8pm.
*Earlier arrival time may be purchased at $1,000 per additional hour before 3pm.
Is there a curfew?
Yes, all amplified music & bar service are required to end by 8pm.
All personal items & decor need to be cleared out of the venue by 8pm when we close the gates.
What is the venue rental fee, and what is included?
Friday, Saturday & Sunday Venue Rental: $6,000
Includes exclusive use of the property for your special day
Bridal Suite with private bathroom & Groom's Suite with billiards table
Decorative dessert platters available, 6' banquet table for desserts, heaters /AC surrounding the courtyard,
built in sound system, bar, and lighting
Royal Dalton china, glassware, & flatware available as needed.
What about catering?
The Villa has a gorgeous state of the art kitchen built into the property, and provides a team of seasoned chefs,
professional servers, and amazing bartenders for your special day.
The Villa does not provide a menu tasting, but to get a better idea of our plating, presentation, and overall quality of food
please be sure to try out our sister restaurant 'The Ramos house Cafe' which is located on los rios street in san juan Capistrano.
**The Villa does not allow outside caterers or food trucks on property.
What are the food & bar minimums?
there is a $3,200 Food & Beverage minimum with a rate of $80 per each additional guest.
What About Parking?
The Villa SJC provides a valet service, with 2 parking lots directly across the street from the venue.

How many restrooms are there?
There are 3 restrooms available to guests throughout the property:
2 wheelchair accessible restrooms on the ground level in the main courtyard,
One is located inside the private bridal suite.
What if it rains?
The Villa San Juan Capistrano is an outdoor venue. If rain is forecasted on event date, client must pay all
additional costs for tents and/or umbrella tables to be erected in the courtyard.
Costs of tenting will vary depending on your needs and will be ordered
through our preferred rentals vendor Signature Party Rentals.
The event date secured is rain or shine, and the decision for tenting must be received by 12:00 pm, two days prior to event date.
Client must contact Their coordinator to assist with placing order to Signature Party Rentals.
Can I bring in my own DJ?
We work with our in-house DJs Keith Divel & Kris Winrich for our weddings and events.
They know the venue inside and out, and are amazing at creating a smooth and entertaining evening.
Having said that, you are welcome to bring in an outside DJ if you would prefer.
We charge a $500 sound fee if you choose not to work with Divel Entertainment or Dream Brother.
Can I work with an outside coordinator?
We work very closely with our in-house coordination team Joy N Company for our weddings and events.

They have been working with the venue since it's opening, have extensive knowledge about the venue,
and are amazing professionals who will help create and execute your perfect day.
if you would prefer to work with outside coordination it will need to be approved by villa management
and there will be a charge of $750 for a venue management fee
to have an on-site contact on the day of the wedding.
